Our Director of Operations and our Resident Care Team handles all potential admissions to Hospeace House. Please contact her at 585-374-2090 with any questions or concerns regarding the admission process. Referrals can be made by potential residents, family members or friends, physicians, social workers, or hospitals.
General Guidelines for Potential Residents
- Diagnosis of Terminal Illness with a prognosis of three months or less
- Desire to come
- Private physician coverage
- Understanding that no life-sustaining measures will be implemented
- Understanding that Hospeace House is primarily staffed with trained volunteers
- Must be able to be safely managed by trained staff and volunteers
- Admission is determined by need
